Please review important information regarding arrival and dismissal for students being dropped off and picked up here at school. Thank you for your support and patience at arrival and dismissal.
AT ARRIVAL: Students may begin entering the building at 8:15 am (not prior). If you are dropping off your child, please use the front loop.
Cars that are in the loop (not on School Lane) will be asked to release their child(ren) at 8:15 am
The cars that have released their children will cycle through the loop which will allow other cars to enter the loop.
IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO PICK UP YOUR CHILD FROM SCHOOL, BEFORE PICKUP:
If your child will be a daily/occasional pickup at dismissal, please complete the following form by Wednesday, August 31:

We will use this information to generate a sign that can be picked up from our Youth Assistant beginning September 1 after 1 pm or any time on September 2 between 7:30 am and 2:30 pm. This sign will be used to help facilitate dismissal (see below).
Please contact the attendance office (kgiacolone@hilton.k12.ny.us) if you are authorizing someone other than a parent/guardian to pick up your child(ren).
Please notify our attendance office by 10 am if your child will not be riding the bus as planned and will need to pick your child up. The sooner you can communicate this information, the better. Our attendance office contact information is available via the following link:
AT DISMISSAL:
In order to stagger our dismissal of students being picked up, please arrive as early as 2:50 p.m. We will begin dismissing students being picked up at 2:55 pm as families arrive.
Please pull into the parent pick-up loop. Please pull to the right and please remain in your vehicle.
Hold up (or place in the window) the provided sign with your child's number on it.
There will be staff members with walkie-talkies to call for your child(ren) to come out as the staff identify that you have arrived.
Please have your identification available to show to staff.
When you leave...
Please wait for the car ahead of you to leave before pulling out safely and cautiously as the parent loop will be quite busy.
Please put your sign in a safe spot as the sign will be needed each time you pick your child up.
