We wanted to take the time to reach out and let everyone know how excited we are to see our students back tomorrow! Please know that we have worked hard to prepare for their arrival, and we are ready! We have a few important notes for you as you send your students to school tomorrow or Monday. Please note that the arrival and dismissal information applies only to students in Grades K-6, as our UPK families follow different procedures.
If you are dropping off or picking up your child, please remain in the car. (The exceptions are if you need to help students out of car seats, with doors, etc)
Please keep to the right and do not pass the car ahead of you - please be patient and wait until their car has been unloaded or loaded. Thank you for being patient!
Based on the youngest child in your family:
K-2 drop-offs and pickups, please use the main entrance parent loop to drop off and pick up.
3-6 student drop-offs and pickups, please use the HJ Gym Entrance in the back of the building (accessible via Old Hojack) as pictured below:
Village Elementary HJ Gym Entrance
We will have ALL HANDS ON DECK for arrival and dismissal. We have staff that will be outside for their arrival from bus or car, as well as seven entrances to help keep students socially distanced.
Please remember to complete your health screenings in the morning before your child arrives at school, and that they have their assurance card to show staff.
We have large groups of staff right inside all entrances to get our students to their classrooms (we promise we will take care of them and get them where they need to be)!
If you are picking up in the PM, please remember your student number card and please have your ID ready. If you have not picked up your sign yet, we will send it home with your child by Tuesday of next week.
If there are any changes to your child’s pick up status, please let the attendance office know by 10 am so that we can be prepared.
We are looking forward to getting off to a great start of the year. Thank you for all of your support.
