Dr. Rudd's Message to Village Students and Families for March 27

Dear Village Students and Families,

Below, you will find today's read-aloud. Refer back to the home page of this blog for additional read-alouds in the event that this is the first one you are enjoying. Today's book, Good Boy, Fergus, even features some unplanned sound effects by our dogs, Lady and Luna. You'll find pictures of them below in addition to the read-aloud.

Also, please use the following link to share book recommendations for future read-alouds:

Next week, we invite all of our Village families to participate in a Virtual Spirit Week from home. Please visit our spirit week blog post for details - Monday is camp out day - read in a pillow or blanket fort!

We miss you very much, and it would be great to hear from families.  I'd love if you'd share highlights of your home learning, whether it's a funny story, a picture, or anything related to our Virtual Spirit Week. I'll feature some of these in my message to families next Friday.

Remember that next Friday is Superintendent's Conference Day, so there won't be any home learning activities for that day, and the following week will be break.

Finally, I know some families have had questions about accessing Google Classroom, particularly where younger students are concerned. We will send information to families that should help - please do not hesitate to reach out in the meantime for assistance.

Be well, and keep in touch!  We miss our students very much.
