Our 9th annual Shoe Box campaign to help support the Open Door Mission prepared 93 gift boxes of hats, gloves, socks and toiletries for the needy!
Below is a note from the Open Door......
Dear Students and Staff at Village Elementary,
"I wanted to personally thank you for your generous help to supply us with Christmas Shoe Box Gifts for the needy that we'll serve at Open Door Mission this holiday season. Because of your support we'll be able to distribute well over 1,000 shoe box gifts to men, women and children who we will also serve with nutritious meals, healthy shelter and dignified clothing the days leading up to Christmas Day and even afterwards.
Your generosity is what makes this outreach to our hurting neighbors very gratifying. Thank you for your continued partnership as together we reach out to our neighbors in need to restore hope in them one life at a time.
