At its regular meeting on Feb. 23, the Board of Education
authorized the formation of a District Facilities Planning Committee to be
comprised of district staff and community residents. The committee is
charged with reviewing and prioritizing district capital needs to develop a
recommendation to the Board of Education for a possible capital project to be
voted on in 2017. Any interested community members may volunteer to
participate by calling Julie Norris, District Clerk at 392-1000, ext.
7099. The Hilton School District completed a Building Condition Survey
this year using the services of LaBella Associates in response to the NYS
requirement for all school districts to undertake a detailed architectural
review every five years.
