Your child
is required to have the Tdap vaccine, and if they haven’t already had it, the
second Varicella vaccine. They will not be able to attend school in September
without it.
The only
exception is if your child has not turned 11 yet. They will have 14 days once
they turn 11 to have this completed. This only applies to the Tdap vaccine.
I will need
documentation from your health care provider with the dates of the vaccines.
If you are
unable to get an appointment before school the Monroe County Health Dept.
offers them without cost.
